Best colour profile?

Just wonerin if someone could educate me on the best colour profile to use in NZ, european, US or photoshop 5 default?

This is a rather tricky one, as in NZ there are no local printing standards.
As US Web Coated SWOP is the Photoshop default CMYK profile this can be a good one to use if you can't get information from your printer. However, this isn't the greatest profile so you may find that the old Euroscale or the newer Fogra27 profile will give better results in NZ.
The best thing to do is ask for a recommendation from your print supplier, but failing that choosing one of the Adobe profiles and keeping it standardised throughout all your applications is a workable option.
