The Ministry for the Environment is looking for someone with proven experience in website and intranet management to lead our web team. You値l be passionate about the web as a communications tool and committed to producing websites that meet the needs of users and the business.
We池e about to develop a sustainability portal that will act as a focal point for people and communities engaged in sustainable actions. You値l play a big part in the success of a comprehensive website that pulls together and promotes the array of household sustainability initiatives and information across New Zealand. You値l also be ensuring that the day-to-day needs of the business are met (including processing content changes) and that we maintain our good relationship with the business groups.
You値l need to be savvy with web technologies and have in-depth knowledge of the New Zealand Government Web Standards and Recommendations. You値l also need to be a well-organised and adept multi-tasker, capable of keeping many balls in the air at once while maintaining your sense of humour.
