Full-time position available in vibrant award-winning web design firm.

We are seeking a Junior Web Developer to join our award winning Wellington-based web development team. We're looking for someone who is passionate about the web, user experience and user interfaces.

The candidate will ideally have some experience working in web development, specifically in a Linux/Apache hosted environment using MySQL and PHP, and a relevant tertiary qualification certainly won’t hurt your chances.

The successful applicant will be responsible and friendly, have good communication skills, be highly motivated and show initiative. A natural aptitude and interest in technology is desirable.

Required skills:

* Knowledge of PHP (Object Oriented), MySQL and Content Management Systems
* Javascript, AJAX, XHTML and CSS skills
* Basic Linux knowledge - Apache, MySQL, Cron, SSH etc
* A genuine desire and will to learn

Beneficial skills:

* Flash (Actionscript coding)
* Version control (SVN)
* Familiarity with graphics applications such as Photoshop/Illustrator/Freehand
* Good foot-eye co-ordination for hacky sack
* Think IE6 is evil
